Description
Premier Equine Full Cheek Snaffle with Copper Lozenge
- Full cheek snaffles are useful for green horses or young horses as they can help with steering.
- Shanks on the bit create a positive action against the horse’s cheeks when asked to turn.
- The full cheek design also prevents the bit being dragged through the horse’s mouth.
- This bit can be used with keepers on the bridle to help keep the cheeks vertical.
- The double jointed mouthpiece with copper lozenge distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and bars of the mouth whilst reducing the nutcracker action of a single jointed bit.
- Copper is a warm metal which encourage the horse to salivate and mouth on the bit.
- Fixed cheeks on this bit provide more stability through the reins and are suitable for horses that may be unsure of the bit because they create less movement.
- Made from stainless steel, which is the most common material used for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and does not rust.
- Ideal for young or green horses and for most equestrian disciplines.
