Description

The Lorina French Link Loose Ring Weymouth Bradoon is a specialized horse bit designed primarily to be used as the snaffle component of a double bridle setup, working in tandem with a Weymouth curb bit.
It has smaller rings and a thinner mouthpiece than a standard snaffle, leaving sufficient room in the horse’s mouth for both.
The double-jointed center plate lays flat across the tongue and bars, evening out pressure and eliminating the painful “nutcracker” action of single-jointed bits.
Encourages a relaxed jaw by allowing free movement of the mouthpiece, making it harder for the horse to lean on the rider’s hand.
Because of its small ring profile, it can also be used as a standalone standard snaffle for smaller ponies.
