Description

The Lorina Loose Ring Jointed Fulmer is a highly specialized horse bit that combines the lateral steering assistance of a full cheek bit with the responsiveness and fluidity of a loose ring snaffle.
It features a single-jointed stainless steel mouthpiece that creates a “nutcracker” action over the horse’s tongue and bars.
It is widely used by riders training young, green horses or working with horses that tend to lean heavily or fix on a rigid, fixed-cheek bit.
The long, extended bars sit outside the horse’s mouth to provide positive lateral pressure against the cheek during a turn, preventing the bit from being pulled through the mouth.
Loose rings positioned outside the fulmer cheeks. This allows the mouthpiece to move independently, discouraging the horse from leaning or locking onto the rider’s hand.
