- Since feeding hay and straw is by no means sufficient for mineralization, and horses fed this way often lack specific nutrients, the brand St. Hippolyt developed Glucogard.
- This special herbal mineral food can compensate for deficiency symptoms in the long term and allows a diet based on feeding fiber (hay and straw).
- The combination of minerals and vitamins is selected in such a way as to support the natural function of insulin and carbohydrate metabolism. Therefore, sport horses that encounter higher amounts of grain and thus also starch can benefit from Glucogard.
Recommended use:
- Approx. 100 g per animal per day (horse 500 – 600 kg body weight)
- Approx. 60 – 75 g per animal per day (small horse, pony)
