- The Lorina Hollow Mouth Eggbutt Snaffle is a lightweight, gentle horse bit designed for sensitive horses.
- It features fixed Eggbutt cheeks to prevent pinching and a thicker hollow mouthpiece to distribute pressure evenly
- Single-jointed with a mild “nutcracker” action on the bars and roof of the mouth. Fixed eggbutt rings keep the cheeks stable. They do not pinch the corners of the horse’s lips like loose-ring snaffles can.
- Thicker than standard snaffles but very lightweight. The thicker mouthpiece naturally sits higher in the horse’s mouth. This design discourages horses from slipping their tongue over the bit.
