- The Lorina Flexi Peanut Joint Continental 2 Ring is an equestrian bit designed to offer a balance of control and comfort. It features a polyurethane-covered stainless steel mouthpiece combined with a double-jointed center link and a 2-ring gag cheekpiece.
- Constructed from a durable polyurethane material encasing a stainless steel core. This makes the bit significantly warmer to the touch than traditional metal, making it highly suitable for young horses, sensitive mouths, or cold weather riding.
- The double-jointed design includes a central rolling “peanut” link. This configuration prevents the “nutcracker” action associated with single-jointed bits, reducing high palate pressure and encouraging the horse to play with the bit rather than attempting to place its tongue over it.
- Often referred to as a Dutch Gag. It introduces leverage on the poll. It features a primary ring for the bridle and upper rein, alongside a lower loop option. The lower the rider attaches the rein, the more leverage and poll pressure are applied.
- Riders can use a single rein attached directly to the main ring for a mild effect, drop to the lower ring for increased brakes, or utilize roundings to spread the pressure evenly across both options.
