- Processing has involved only heat, moisture and grinding to ensure improved nutrient availability; no added chemicals have been used.
- BHF Cooked Linseed is an ideal addition to any feeding regime, to key elements of protein, and oil.
- Naturally low in starch and sugar, it is suitable as a feedstuff across all dietary requirements, breeds and activities, and can be fed directly from the bag or, if preferred top dressed on our soaked feed range, Speedi-Beet or Fibre-Beet or on hard feeds.
- British Horse Feeds’ Cooked Linseed is an ideal source of omega 3. With 39% oil, almost a half of which is as omega-3 fatty acids, it provides a protein source rich in components that help provide the right kind of energy, maintain musculature and recovery and is easy to feed.

Feeding Guidelines
- We recommend that British Horse Feeds Cooked Linseed can be fed in any situation.
- It is particularly useful as an addition to forage-fibre diets and hard feed providing supplementary protein, oil and fibre to support a range of condition, activities and aiding recovery.
To feed as a top dressing according to size and activity:
- With a fibre-based diet (Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet): 10-70g per 100kg live weight, depending on activity.
- To be used with a hard feed or balancer: 40-120g per 100kg liveweight depending on activity and hard feed levels.
