Lorina French Link Eggbutt Bradoon
- The Lorina French Link Eggbutt Bradoon is a double-jointed, stainless steel snaffle bit designed with smaller cheeks and a thinner mouthpiece.
- It is primarily engineered to be used alongside a curb bit in a double bridle setup, but its mild action and compact size also make it highly effective when used on its own for ponies and sensitive horses.
- The central flat plate lies flat across the horse’s tongue. This double-jointed design eliminates the harsh “nutcracker” pinching action of a single-jointed bit and prevents the joint from poking upward into the sensitive palate.
- The fixed, flared rings keep the bit stable in the mouth and prevent it from sliding sideways. Unlike loose rings, eggbutt cheeks will not pinch the corners of the horse’s lips.
- Because it is a bradoon, the rings are noticeably smaller and the mouthpiece is slimmer than a standard training snaffle. This ensures it takes up very little vertical space in the mouth.
