- Feed rate (for an average 500kg horse): 20 – 30g per day.
How to make an eye compress
- Gently boil and then simmer a ½ teaspoon of Eyebright in a ½ cup of water.
- Once cooled, moisten a compress (cotton wool), wring out slightly and place over the eye.
N.B – If your horse has insulin-related issues or metabolic conditions, please consult your vet before feeding Eyebright, as certain herbs may not be suitable for horses with insulin sensitivities.
